George Mackie, Chairman
George became Chairman of Adaptivity in October 2010 when Noro-Moseley Partners(NMP) led a syndicate of venture capital firms in the Company’s Series A round of institutional capital.
Prior to joining Adaptivity, George was a Venture Partner with Noro-Moseley Partners where he played an active role in reviewing investment opportunities and in working with NMP portfolio companies to create and manage high growth. George is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of leading several successful software companies including DBS Systems Corporation, the exclusive provider of all billing and customer care services to DIRECTV since its launch in 1994.
George received a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, where he frequently visits as a lecturer in the Entrepreneurship program.

Matt Barrington, President & COO
Matt leads the day-to-day business operations at Adaptivity. He oversees the strategy and execution of their award-winning software platform for their customer base including their innovative Blueprint Factory solutions across cloud, application portfolio rationalization & data center transformations.
Matt has over 20 years of IT experience in software, financial services and management consulting across multiple industry sectors. He specializes in creating and operating business-driven, high-volume, enterprise IT solutions and has 15 years of direct experience in eCommerce. Prior to joining Adaptivity, he was SVP, Director of the Internet Technologies and Services group at Wachovia/Wells Fargo which included the utility platform which powered their number one rated website. He was also a senior consultant with Towers Perrin and led the design, development and implementation of several enabling technology efforts across multiple industry segments. Matt began his career at a software company spin-off from AT&T Bell Labs.

Bob MacFarlane, CTO
Bob leads the product management, research and development, as well as the quality assurance teams for Adaptivity. He is responsible for ensuring that the company continues to be a leading innovator in the delivery of software and services that aid enterprises in realizing significant gains, minimal risk and reduced resources. In particular, Mr. MacFarlane will drive innovation to ensure that Adaptivity’s Blueprint4IT Lifecycle Suite(TM) of software products continues to deliver a repeatable, scalable, fit-for-purpose infrastructure planning and design solution that aligns IT to the business.
Bob has over 20 years of IT leadership experience in infrastructure delivery, operations, asset management, CMDB solutions and management consulting across multiple industry sectors. He specializes in leveraging complex datasets to solve business driven enterprise programs. Prior to joining Adaptivity, he was VP, Director of Engineering Practices with responsibility for hardware and software asset management at Wachovia/Wells Fargo. He was also an IT director with EMC corporation and led the development and implementation of several enabling technology efforts, including a federated CMDB, enterprise knowledge management solution and leveraged many of EMCs technology solutions within their IT practice. Previously, Bob also held leadership positions at FORE systems and Stratus computer.

Jason P. Noel, Vice President and Cloud Practice Lead
Jason is Vice President at Adaptivity focused on Cloud Computing and Data Center Transformation. Jason’s focus at Adaptivity is developing and leading the execution of the companies’ Cloud Computing strategy. In this role he engages with clients to position Adaptivity’s solutions and leads delivery of Cloud consulting services.
Jason is an experienced and visionary practitioner that uses a rare combination of talents to deliver results across complex global organizations. Over the course of his 15+ year career Jason has acquired the unique experience of being a technology executive as well as leading consulting services practices at two of the worlds leading IT services firms. The result is a very valuable blend of experience.
Most recently Jason was Vice President of the Cloud Services practice at Fujitsu America and Vice President of the IT Management Advisory Global Service Line practice at Unisys Corporation. Jason was also part of the initial leadership team at MITI, a successful Data Warehousing startup that was ultimately acquired by ChoicePoint/LexisNexis.

Sheppard Narkier, Co-founder & Chief Scientist
Sheppard is a co-founder and Chief Scientist of Adaptivity. Sheppard is responsible for advancing Adaptivity’s Intellectual Property, including its knowledge base, algorithms and methodology. He collaborates closely with our services team in client engagements to ensure that the IP is field validated and evolves to remain relevant.
Sheppard has over 35+ years experience as a senior technical manager and enterprise architect. He has been recognized for building high performance, committed global teams with a record of delivering measurable business value in demanding IT environments such as stock exchanges and leading successful transformations in large complex IT engagements. He has exhibited effective leadership as a facilitator of change, adept at synthesizing and executing a common vision to drive an organization’s business goals,
Prior to Adaptivity, Sheppard served as Head of Software Portfolio Management and IT Governance at Wachovia’s Corporate Investment Banking Technology Group where he was part of a team that designed, built, and implemented a leading-edge service-oriented architecture and utility computing infrastructure.

Kurtis Tatum, EVP Delivery Services
Kurtis Tatum is Executive Vice President and Chief Enterprise Architect responsible for leading the Global Service Delivery organization for Adaptivity, Inc., as well as managing our Systems Integrator partner relationships. He is responsible for ensuring that Adaptivity delivers high-quality solutions and services to meet our customers’ needs. Kurtis and his team are also responsible for providing input and direction to the Product management and Product Developments teams based on customer feedback, industry competition and service partner requirements.
Kurtis is an accomplished IT executive with extensive knowledge and experience in developing, deploying and orchestrating enterprise architecture programs and comprehensive infrastructure transformations. He specializes in cross-organization team building, engagement management, IT strategy development, IT and business service management, IT operations and transformation solution development. He has over 35 years experience in the IT industry as a consultant involved in data center transformation design and planning, Enterprise Architecture design and program development, ITSM/BSM strategy, analysis and planning and business to IT alignment. Previously, Kurtis held field leadership positions with Unisys, Corporation as head of Services Planning and more recently with Siemens IT Solutions and Services in their Data Center and Cloud consulting practice.

Kevin Dell, CAO and General Counsel
As CAO and General Counsel, Kevin is responsible for all legal matters for the company, in particular, contracts, strategic partnering agreements and debt and equity financings. Kevin also oversees finance and human resources. Kevin has over 25 years experience as counsel to both public and private technology and outsourcing services companies. He is particularly effective in helping businesses accelerate growth. He most recently served as General Counsel of DataSynapse, Inc., a private, venture capital financed grid computing platform. Prior to that, he served as General Counsel of The BISYS Group, Inc., a public company outsourcing services provider to financial institutions, and Concurrent Computer Corporation, a public company manufacturer and distributor of specialty real-time computing systems.
